Austin Blair Vittitow, 26, passed away on March 31, 2026. Services will be Thursday, April 9, 2026 beginning with visitation at 4 pm and funeral service to follow at 5 pm at Rodgers- Awkard & Lyons Funeral Home, 951 S. Preston Street.

Austin was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 22, 1999, to parents Chastity Vittitow and Brian Hampton Sr. He was preceded in death by his mother, Chastity Vittitow, and his grandfather, Raymond Vittitow. Austin is survived by his father, Brian Hampton Sr; his older brother, Brian Hampton Jr.; his younger sister, Rachel Grace Vittitow-Morales; his younger, sister Faith Johnson-Gay; and his younger brother James Johnson-Gay.

Austin was known for his outgoing personality, quick wit, and a smile that could light up any room. His natural charisma and sense of humor brought joy to everyone around him, making him unforgettable to all who knew him. Austin had an incredible ability to find joy in the simplest things and to spread that joy to others. His resilience in the face of challenges was truly inspiring, teaching us all the value of perseverance and optimism.

Though Austins time with us was cut short, the impact he made will last forever. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and the memories we hold dear. We will miss you terribly, Austin, but we are grateful for the time we had and the lessons you taught us. Know that in the hearts of your family and friends you will never be forgotten.
