He is survived by his children Benedict Allen, Jr., Ashley Allen, Latashua Bright, and Nilia Dockery; siblings, Timothy Coleman, Anna Jackson, Laura Guest, Cora English, Patricia Long, and Mark Allen. Services will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 with visitation at 11 a.m. followed by funeral service at 1 p.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 1310 W. Broadway.
