On the morning of November 3, 2023 our beloved, Betty J Redd of Louisville, KY peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord at age 72. Betty was born Betty Ballard on January 11, 1951 in Montgomery, Alabama to Inez and Thomas Ballard.
Betty’s passion and work for many years included being a seamstress. She made everything from her everyday wear, her kids and husband’s clothes to even wedding parties, proms, etc. Her family and friends could always call on her to make any alterations for them. Betty also worked and retired from the Louisville Metro Police Dept. in the Traffic division in 2020 after providing 22 and half years of service.
She has been surrounded with so much love from not only her immediate family but from those family & friends who are close and far away. Betty was a very stylish woman who made sure EVERY time she left her house, she had her make- up on and her hair & nails done nicely to match what she was wearing. She loved to cook and bake and loved to show compassion to those she knew who were having a tough time. This was Betty J. Ballard Redd
