Brenda Knox, 60, passed away on December 28, 2020. Services will be Tuesday, January 5, 2021 with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. and funeral service to follow at 12 noon at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston Street.

Brenda was born May 7, 1960 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Lorene and Frank Knox. After moving to Louisville, KY, Brenda graduated from Ballard High School, class of 1978. Brenda eventually went to art school and became an amazing artist. Her hobbies were working on electronics, working on cars, and advertising for beauty shops. She would often stop by her favorite beauty shop, bringing laughter and free products. In her free time, she would make gospel CD’s and pass them out to her family members. Brenda always expressed her faith in God and held on to those same sentiments before she died. Brenda was preceded in death by her father Frank Knox Sr. and her brother James Knox. She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Lorene Quarles, sister Martha Woods, and her brothers Frank and Stanford Knox. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
