Louisville – Cedric Purvis, 64, passed his earthly home on Sunday February 20, 2022. He was born on August 9, 1957, to the union of Mildred Burton Purvis and Thomas Purvis, who preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his two sons, Cedric Purvis and Dedrick Purvis, and eight grandchildren. Sisters Paulette Howard (Gregory), Cynthia Purvis, Donna Purvis Foster (Rodney). He also leaves his two nieces Dionna Howard, Kamara Tyler (Adam), and his nephew Greg Howard Jr.
Cedric was a 1977 graduate of Central High School, and worked many jobs to include Seagram’s, Louisville Presbyterian, and the City of Louisville before being disabled.
He leaves behind a host of relatives and loved ones and will be painfully missed.
Services will be held on Saturday February 26th beginning at 10am visitation and funeral service to follow at 12 noon at Midwest Chruch of Christ 2115 Garland Avenue. www.ralfuneral.com
