He is preceded in death by both parents, his elder sister Wilma L. (Redden) Furman and younger brother Frederick A. Redden.  He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Christopher R. Redden, Jr. and Kimberly B. Redden; one brother, William E. Redden; one sister, Cassie I. (Redden) Shively; and three grandchildren, Mahagoni Redden, Adrian Redden and Krystianna Redden.  He is also survived by two great grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends who mourn his loss.
