Daisy Irene Strickland, 84, passed away on December 12, 2023. Services will be Tuesday, December 19, 2023 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 12 noon at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons Funeral Home, 951 S. Preston St. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.
Daisy is survived by her eight children, Rodney, Nina, Michael, LaJean, Paul, Tawana, Kimberly and Ricky Strickland.; her long-time companion, Jerry Hill; her siblings, James Owens Jr, Anna Clark, Faye Ellis, Marvis Shanks and Challis Young; along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
