Da’kia Micole Murrell, 34, passed away on December 8, 2023. Services will be Wednesday, December 20, 2023 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Homer Murrell, brother Michael “Mike Mike” Coleman; and her grandmother, Monica Hicks Parker.
She leaves to cherish her memories her beautiful children; sons, Robby’on Gill, Dayton Murrell; daughters, Destinee Gill, Kennadi and Jream Murrell; her mother, Dionne Monique Murrell; brothers, James and Dominique Coleman, Lerone Gathwood and DeAndre “Bruh” Hick; sisters, Demesha Hicks and Da’metria Murrell; her grandfather, Warren King (Jean); and great-grandmother, Lucille King; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Da’kee was loved and she will be truly missed.
