Deborah Kaye Williams, 69, passed away on May 12, 2026. Services will be Monday, May 18, 2026 beginning with visitation at 10:30 am and memorial service to follow at 12 noon at Ministries of Christ, 1701 W. Jefferson Street.

Deborah, a proud daughter of Louisville, Kentucky, was born to Mary Williams and Kenneth Williams and raised in the Cotter Homes community alongside her siblings Rick Hall, Pamela Moore, Lisa Hayden, Leslie Evans, Renita Bodiford, and Keith Williams. From an early age, Deborah embodied resilience, independence, and a spirit that could not be contained.

A gifted athlete, Deborah earned a full basketball scholarship to Kentucky State University, where her journey into adulthood began. Though her path did not follow a traditional route to graduation, Deborah’s life would become a masterclass in creativity, entrepreneurship, and determination. Deborah was more than a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend—she was an anchor, a creator, a fighter, and a force. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and truth.

Deborah is survived by her loving sons Tony Williams (Tiffany) and Wesley Williams (Tiffany); five siblings, Rick Hall (Martha), Pamela Moore, Lisa Hayden, Renita Bodiford, and Keith Williams; grandchildren, Simba, Skylar, Sage, and Lailah Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.  Deborah will be deeply missed, forever honored, and always remembered.
