Demetrius Lamont Fant, 47, passed away on February 6, 2026. Services will be Saturday, February 14, 2026 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at King Solomon Baptist Church, 1620 Anderson Street.

Demetrius was truly loved and left a lasting impression on everybody who knew him. He was from 28th Street and was proud of where he came from. He loved to tell jokes and keep people laughing. He was a proud graduate of Seneca High School, Class of 1997. He did not have a church home, but he attended King Solomon Baptist Church from time to time.

Demetrius shared over 20 years of love with his significant other, Lakesha Young. Their bond was built on loyalty, growth, and standing by each other through everything life brought their way. He loved music and could always be found riding with 8Ball and MJG, South Circle, and Mr. Mike playing loud. He loved money, not for flash, but because his biggest goal was always to make sure his kids were good. He enjoyed playing basketball, and had a real love for cars and riding. He lived life his way, stayed true to himself, and stood solid for the people he loved. Most of all, He loved hard. He showed up for his family and friends, protected those close to him, and left behind memories that will never fade. Though his absence hurts deeply, his love, laughter, and spirit will live on through everyone who knew him.
