Dorothy Mae Henry, 81, passed away on March 6, 2026. Services will be Monday, March 30, 2026 beginning with visitation 12 noon and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons Funeral home, 951 S. Preston Street.
Dorothy Mae Gates Henry was born September 14, 1944 to Willie Gates, Jr. and Eula Mae Williams in LaGrange, GA. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Henry, Jr.; and three daughters, Dorothy Jean Henry, Gail Burks, and Elaine Henry. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons Clyde Henry, III and Perry Henry (Nicole); 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
