Burns, Eric Lamonte, 62, passed away on March 18, 2017. He is survived by his wife Theresa E. Burns; children, Nathan Burns (Monica), Annise Basemore (T’Shombi), and Nechelle Burns; father, Tommie Burns, Jr.; siblings, Juan Burns, Charita Gresham, and RheShea Burns; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will begin 11 a.m. Wednesday with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at Third Central United Christian Church, 3900 W. Broadway. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.
