Smith, Evelyn Janet, 97, passed away on February 21, 2017. She is survived by her children Paula A. Butler, Gwendolyn Hardin (Albert), and Rosalyn Burks; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will begin 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2017 with funeral service to follow at noon and Brown Memorial CME Church, 809 W. Chestnut Street. Interment will be in Louisville Cemetery.
