George Edward Bell, 87, passed away on December 7, 2025. Services will be Tuesday, December 16, 2025 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 12 noon at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons Funeral Home, 951 S. Preston Street. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.
George graduated from Central High School class of 1955 and was a retiree of Jefferson County Public Schools. He is survived by his children Angela, Bradley, Dennis; his grandchildren, Tre’saun and Labrea; great-granddaughter, Zariah; and a host of family and friends that will truly miss him.
