George H. Slaughter, 73, passed away November 20, 2022. His funeral service 1 p.m. Saturday, February 11th, at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman, Jr. Drive. Visitation begins at 11 a.m.
George was born on February 16, 1949, to the late Thomas and Gladys Slaughter. He was a member of Greater St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church.
His wife, Toni, passed away on December 27, 2022. He was survived by his sons, Terrence (Dana), Clarence and George Slaughter; daughter, Sherence Slaughter-Ford, eight grandchildren; sisters, Versa Tucker and Wilma Simmons; brothers, James, Thomas and David Slaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
