Gregory Greenlee, 67, passed away on June 14, 2026. Services will be Tuesday, June 23, 2026 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive.

Gregory Greenlee was born on July 1, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio. At a young age he moved to Williamsburg, Kentucky and later to Louisville. He attended Jefferson County Public Schools. He worked various jobs in his life including an auto body detailer, groundskeeper, and a grocer. Gregory loved to move around and was able to visit multiple states as well as visiting Korea during his time in the Army.

Gregory was a man with many friends and loved ones and always had a big smile and his face and an “AYE” to greet you with. He always had a natural ability to gravitate people towards him. He was always on the go and the life of the party wherever he went. Even when life slowed him down a bit, you could always catch him out on his porch with a good conversation. He was always there when you needed advice, an ear to listen, or even a good laugh.

Gregory is preceded in death by his mother; Beulah, his father; Frank, his brothers; Carl, Frank, and Dewight, and his sisters Carol and Meta. He is survived by his brothers; Milton, Quaid, and Darrell, his sisters; Tina, Lisa (Derek), and Yalonda, his son; Jonathan (Sharon), granddaughters; Brielle and Brooklyn, and many other friends and family.
