Gwendolyn Smyzer Drake, 68, passed away on February 4, 2021 in Leesville, LA. She is survived by her children Christine Brown and Terry Drake; brothers, Elwood Franklin (Margaret), Rev. Matthew Smyzer (Joann), Abe Drake (Elizabeth) and William Drake: sisters, Princess Drake and Charlotte Pitney; along with many nieces, nephews cousins and a host of friends. Services will be Friday, February 19th with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. and funeral service to follow at 12 noon at Beargrass Baptist Church, 2300 Payne Street.
