Jones, James Edward, 82, passed away on August 12, 2015. He is survived by his son Edward Lee Jones (Elizabeth); siblings, Elinor Johnson, Patricia Sloss, Mary Lewis, Delores Jackson (Lorenzo), Thomas Jones, Vincent Simmons (Yolanda), Leroy Simmons, and Edward Simmons (Corine); two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015 with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church at Shively Heights, 2304 Crums Lane. Interment will be in Louisville Cemetery. Professional services by Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston St.
