James F. Ragland “Jim”,
Louisville, 73, was granted his angel wings on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Norton’s Brownsboro Hospital. He was a retired State of Kentucky ABC Officer, member New Zion Baptist Church, and U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Magdalene Ragland; sisters Chevalier Chambers and Helen Claypool, and brother, Harold F. Ragland, Jr. Jim’s survivors include his sister, Mary Patterson of Hampton, GA (formerly of Bowling Green, KY); nieces and nephews; a faithful friend, Eugene Johnson, and a host of other relatives and friends. Attendance at the funeral service will be limited to individuals designated by the family. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Burnett Avenue Baptist Church, 6800 S. Hurstborne Parkway.
