James Raybon Cottoner, 75, passed away on December 27, 2024. He was a retired Master Electrician, Trustee of Canaan Christian Church, and a U.S. Army Veteran. Services will be Saturday, January 4, 2025 beginning with visitation at 10 am and funeral service to follow at 12 noon at Canaan Christian Church, 2840 Hikes Lane. Interment will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.

James is survived by his wife of 49 years, Delma Jean (Bowman) Cottoner; his children, Derek Bowman and wife Tanisha, Donna Bowman, Tanya Bowman, and Bryan Cottoner; his grandchildren, Jeanna Higgs, Justin Miller, Nathan Bowman, Whitney Duncan, Willie Sharp, Jasmine (Bowman) Hill and husband Quint, Derek-Terrell Bowman and wife Porri, Brian Bowman, and Desmond Cottoner; his brothers, Reverend Robert L. Cottoner* and wife Jonell, Arliss Cottoner and wife Mickey, and Roger Cottoner; and his sisters, Faye Royster and husband Curtis and Sheryl Stafford and husband Freddie; as well as 10 great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and bonus granddaughters, Marlena Eaves, LaTonya Burnes, Shante Parker, Danielle Hopson, LaToya Bryant, and Shaleakah Abrams.
