Joann Shepard, 79, passed away on January 10, 2024. Services will be Saturday, January 20, 2024 beginning with visitation at 10 am and funeral service to follow at 12 noon at Little Flock Baptist Church, 1030 S. Hancock St. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.
Joann was preceded in death by her sisters, Delores Peaches (Stallard) Walker, Sharon (Dimp) Shacket; her brothers, George and Terry Stallard; her beloved daughter, Joann Marie (Pinky) Shepard; her grandson, Jahmel Carter; and her great-granddaughter, Trisha Miracle Moss-Wiggins.
Joann leaves to cherish her memories her life-time partner and step-father of, their children James Ash; children, Darlene Shepard, James C. Shepard, Jr, and Tiawan Shepard, Sr.; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Kenneth Sunny Stallard (Orange County, California), Charles Stallard, and Guy Stallard; her sisters, Florence Stallard, Helena Stallard, and Victoria Williams (Virginia Beach, Virginia); and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
