Clarkson, John Layfayette, 55, passed away February 22, 2015.
He was an employee at Masterson’s.
Survivors include his children, John L. Mitchell and Tanesha Thomas, mother, Gladys Wells (Reales); grandmother, Edith Overall; siblings, Lester, James, and Joe Clarkson (Rebecca), Terrance Sheckles, John Wade, Bridgette Parker (Seymour), Yolanda and Sharonda Mack, Kim Thompson (Jerome), Kenyetta Harper; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday at King Solomon Baptist Church, 1620 Anderson St., followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment in Green Meadows Cemetery. Professional services by Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons Funeral Home
