Juanita Marshall, 94, passed away on February 11, 2026. Services will be Friday, February 20, 2026 beginning with visitation at 10 am and funeral service to follow at 12 noon at Green Street Baptist Church, 519 E. Gray Street. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.
Juanita is preceded in death by her father and mother, Ulysses and Mary (Donald) McPherson; brothers, Charles, Ulysses Jr., Joseph, and Paul; sisters, Alfreda Martin (Tootie) and Ada Mae Leverett; sons, James E. Marshall Jr. and Michael L. Marshall; daughter, Marilyn T. Brown; and grandsons, Toby Howard, Ervin Dwayne (Winky) Rice Jr., Michael Ford, and James E. Marshall III.
She is survived by her sister, Claire Marie Williams; 2 daughters, Glenda Perry and Myra Rice; sister-in-law, Sarah McPherson; 8 granddaughters, Tonya Marshall, Tracy Marshall, Micheline Brown, Michella James, Maya Brown, Jerrika Perry, Leslie Rice, and Kelly Ford; bonus grandchildren, Laterese Fields and Tyrone Howard; special niece, Betty Sharon Martin, 22 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends to cherish her memory
