Lawrence Jerome Bendingfield, 62, passed away on October 25, 2025. Services will be Monday, November 3, 2025 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons Funeral Home, 951 S. Preston Street.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his father, Morris Bendingfield, and his stepdaughter Ashley Heard. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and caring wife, Annie Bendingfield of 13 years, who took great care of Bubby until the end; his stepdaughters, Tamika Heard (Walter), Winesha Thomas (Thomas); stepsons, Tywan Thompson, and Devonte Thompson; his brother, Richard Beningfield (Linda); and 22 grandchildren.
