Johnson, Mary Etta, 87, passed away on October 24, 2014. She is survived by her children Wadie Bivens, Walter, Winston, and Wesley Thomas; siblings, Rose Johnson, Robert H. and David J. McMillen; 6 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2014 with funeral service to follow at noon at Star Hope Baptist Church, 5009 E. Indian Trail. Entombment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston Street.
