Mary Katherine Napier, 66, passed away on November 11, 2025. Services will be Saturday, November 22, 2025 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at Bethel Baptist Church, 3540 Garland Avenue.
Mary Katherine loved the Lord and was a child of God. She loved listening to her gospel music. She was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church until her illness prevented her from attending. Mary Katherine was a kindred spirit and never met a stranger. She was feisty, fun loving, kind and loved to dance. When she loved you, she loved you with all of her heart. She was a great storyteller who made the world for her family. Her family meant the world to her. She also loved her fur baby, Raider! SHE WAS WELL LOVED BY ALL WHO KNEW HER.
Mary Katherine attended Jefferson County Public Schools. She enjoyed life to the fullest and simply enjoyed having a good time. She was known to be the “life of the party.”
Mary Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, Josephine Napier and Dennis Napier. She leaves to cherish her memories, her sister, Jessie Lee-Napier, her cousin and caretaker, Brenda Williamson and a host of other family members.
