Mikeshia Mucker, 35, passed away on June 14, 2026. Services will begin with visitation from 6-8 pm on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston Street. Funeral will be 12 noon Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Greater Israel Baptist Church, 1509 Magazine Street.
Mikeshia “Keshia” Mucker was born on April 18, 1991, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Helen Miller and Michael Mucker. She was the youngest of six children born to her mother. Keshia was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Helen Miller; her grandmother, Alice Cunningham; and her uncle, Omaha Miller.
Keshia was raised in Markham, Illinois, where she attended Thornton High School in Harvey, IL where she was a cheerleader and ran track. Throughout her life, she resided in several cities, including Minneapolis, Minnesota; Markham, Illinois; Louisville, Kentucky; and Charleston, Missouri.
Keshia was known for her warm personality and her favorite greeting whenever she called family and friends: “What you doing?” She had a special gift for cooking and enjoyed preparing meals for those she loved. Her laughter, sense of humor, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two beloved sons, Gabe Mucker-Miller and Josiah Mucker; her father, Michael Mucker; two sisters, Kaischa Miller and Raneiba Miller; four brothers, Machir Miller, Ronnie Miller, Sowande Miller, Steve Mucker; her aunt, Natashia Harris &Uncle Ron Harris of Steger, Illinois; her loving grandfather, James Cunningham of Louisville, Kentucky; two great-aunts, Johnnie Trainer of Chicago Heights, Illinois, and Rosie Scott of Markham, Illinois; two great-uncles, Charles Scott of Sikeston, Missouri, and Ray Scott of Chicago, Illinois; close cousins, Lakeeshia Scott, Nakeea Scott, and Jerrica Webster; and close brother, Quinn, Sr., along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
Keshia’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Though she is no longer with us in body, her love, laughter, and legacy will remain with us always.
