Mubark Amor Mantog, 63, passed away on October 12, 2025. Funeral service will be 11:30 am Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Beechmont Presbyterian Church, 417 Ashland Avenue with interment in Green Meadows Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 -7 pm Friday at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston Street.

Mubark was a loving father of eight children and he was the heart of his family. Throughout his life, Mubark carried a strong sense of purpose and compassion. Whether it was friendship or family, Mubark always had a way of making people feel seen and valued.

Mubark was a brave and selfless man. During his time in Sudan, he was an entrepreneur who devoted himself to helping others — delivering food to communities and charities in need throughout the civil war. He looked after friends and family, always putting the safety and well-being of others before his own. Years later, he moved to America with one dream in his heart: to give his children a better life and future. His strength, compassion, and dedication to his family and community will always be remembered.

Mubark is preceded in death by his father, Amor Arob, and Againg Ayuel; his siblings, Arob, Ayom, Mantog, and Nyanlou. He is survived by his children, Ayom Amor, Alwong Amor, Malual Amor, Againg Amor, Arob Amor, Nyanajith Amor, Ayol Amor, and Amor Amor.
