Nellie Mae Hicks, 63, passed away on April 11, 2023. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2023 at Greater Israel Baptist Church, 1509 Magazine St. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.
On Tuesday April 11,2023 Nellie went onto Glory to Fly with her angels whom were her brothers Richard C. Hicks (Kay) and Joseph C. Hicks (six children); sisters, Idella Hicks Tarver (one child), Monica Irene Parker (two children), Euphemia (Fennie) M. Hicks, and Shirley Ann Mckoy (six children), whom all preceded her in death along with her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
