He is survived by his children Paul Rose, Gloria Rose, Heidi Johnson, and Kristian Mitchell; mother, Sadie Mae Mitchell; siblings, Samuel, John, Larry, Terry, and Gwen Mitchell; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 with visitation at 11 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive.
