Robert Richard Gray was born September 7, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late George Wallace Gray, Sr. and Austine Virginia McMillen Gray. He was the sixth child born to this union and was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Gray, sisters, Sharon Gaither and Barbara Brown. On Thursday, August 10, 2017, Robert said “Goodbye” to this world! He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter Kennedra Marshall (Brent); brothers George Wallace Gray, Jr. (Leslie) and Raymond Kirby Gray, Sr. (Shirley); granddaughters Brailyn and Brooklyn Marshall; nieces Yolanda Perkins (Jerry, Sr.), Donna Curry, Monica LaPradd (George), Donna Cook and Renee Gray; and nephews, Gerald Gray, Sr. (Mona), Allen Gray, Vernon Gray, Eric Gray (Nicole), Kevin Elmore, and Raymond Gray, Jr. and host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11am at Elim Baptist Church located at 3114 Greenwood Avenue. A commitment of ashes will be held at Elliott Park immediately following services.
