He is survived by his children, Alice, Tammy, Jana, Dana, Precious, Roy Jr., and Brittany Petty, Melody, Jade and Curtis Shepherd, Sonya Glover, and Derron Owens; sisters, Daisy and Margaret Petty; brothers, Bruce and Joe Petty; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7, until the funeral service begins at 1 p.m. at Grace United Baptist Church, 607 E. St. Catherine St. Interment: Green Meadows Cemetery
