Retter-Slade, Valois D., 87, passed away on April 14, 2015. She was a member of Shively Heights at St. Paul Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Raymond Jr., Charles, and Richard Retter, Valois Ann Lee, Vickie Henderson, Janet Lewis, and Anita Henson; siblings, Clerona Downs, and Hunter Nealey; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 11 a.m. with Monday, April 20, 2015 with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at her church, 2627 Crums Lane. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery. Professional services by Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons.
