Venus Abernathy, 57, passed away on March 3, 2023. Memorial service will be Saturday, March 25, 2023 beginning with visittation at 11 a.m. and memorial service to follow at 12 noon at New Covenant Baptist Church, 1190 S. 40th Street.
Venus’s life will continue to be celebrated by her daughters, Ireka and Shimara Abernathy; parents, Irene Brightwell and George Abernathy Sr.; brothers, George Jr. (Kim) and Adrian Abernathy; sister, Ashley Burt., five grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
